UPDATE!! FCF Hosts Tryout for 2026-27 for National 1 League teams!
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ!
FC Frederick has been informed that West Virginia Soccer will not be participating in MLS NEXT for the 2026–27 season. FC Frederick remains deeply committed to providing a high-level development environment for our players, and we are approaching the path ahead with focus and intention.
We are excited to share that FC Frederick's boys teams will be competing in the newly launched National 1 League for 2026–27 — a landmark collaboration between US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer that unifies the best team-based competition in the country into a single national platform, offering strong college coach visibility and a clear pathway to the highest levels of the game.
National 1 League Tryouts (formerly MLS Next tryouts) will be conducted on a rolling basis with tryout dates added and announced as needed. In addition to the scheduled tryouts below, players may contact Josh Gilmore or Colin Viti to set up an individual evaluation opportunity. Here is the up-to-date schedule of tryout dates & times:
