Marvelous Mercersburg Camp
FC Frederick is excited to announce that registration for the 2026 Marvelous Mercersburg Camp is open! According to Camp Director Chuck Hommey, "We’re thrilled to host FC Frederick’s 17th overnight camp — our 5th at the beautiful Mercersburg Academy campus! Each year, this camp offers an unforgettable experience filled with soccer, friendship, and fun!"
Over the years, hundreds of FC Frederick players have taken part in this special summer tradition. The camp features club and team-building activities alongside a soccer curriculum designed to develop players by position — including specialized training for forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers. Who: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade girls and boys (2026-27 school year).
Days: Thursday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 26th, 2026
Cost: $495
Location: Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, PA
Includes: Room, board, t-shirt, Instruction for field players and goalkeepers, fantastic counselors, fun contests, & more!

-- Team shape and patterns of play
-- Zonal defending
-- Midfield possession and speed of play
-- Flank play/crossing and heading
Other Activities:
-- 3v3, 5v5, and futsal competitions (with prizes!)

-- Skit Night with bonfire & s'mores
