FC Frederick Teams
FC Frederick is excited to announce its new Middle School League (MSL)! The MSL is a summer 7-a-side league designed to tap into players' interest in school-based sports participation, while utilizing, as much as possible, the expertise and dedication of the FC Frederick coaching staff and community.

Each team will consist of a maximum of fourteen (14) players. Each player must attend, or reside within, the middle school draw/enrollment area of the team for which they are selected.

  Varsity: Current 7th and 8th graders (rising 8th and 9th graders). In terms of MSYSA age levels, eligible players could be U12-U14.
  Junior Varsity: Current 5th and 6th graders (rising 6th and 7th graders). In terms of MSYSA age levels, eligible players could be U10-U12.
7v7 (6 field players, one GK)

  Rules: NCSL/WAGS Rules for 7v7 play, except that players may substitute on any dead ball at the referee's discretion. Also, only a center referee will be used.
  Length: Varsity: 2x 30 minutes, 5 minute halftime
JV: 2 x 25 minutes; 5 minute halftime
The season begins on Sunday, June 27, 2010 and ends on Wednesday July 28, 2009 (includes a rain-out weekend)

  Schedule: Each week teams will play one weekday game, and one weekend game, for a total of eight (8) games
  Game Days: Tuesday = Girls | Wednesday = Boys | Sunday = Boys/Girls
  Location: St. Thomas More Academy, or another facility capable of hosting five fields simultaneously.
Two tryouts will be held for each team.

  Registration: Players must register on the FC Frederick website.
  Dates/Location: Evenings, week of May 17, at or near middle school in your area
  What to Bring: Proof of middle school enrollment/attendance; white t-shirt and dark t-shirt; shinguards; Soccer ball; cleats; water
  Selection: Posted on the FCF website (www.fcfrederick.com) by Sunday evening, May 30th.
$75 per player (covers MSL t-shirt, referees fees, field maintenance and mowing)
